What's the British rules on engine modifications? It definitely sounds like you're running past the stock governed speed(although I do hear it bouncing off the governor on those long straights). I know that getting the same parts that we have available in the US is expensive or impossible( i.e cams, billet aluminum flywheel and or connecting rod) The USLMRA dictates anything with the governor removed mandates the billet flywheel for safety reasons. I take it engine mods are very limited if any to keep costs down? With the long duration endurance style racing you guys do over there, I would think either keeping the stock rpm or having upgraded internals would be more beneficial for the life of the engine.

You were 9 laps clear when I got up for work mate - then by the time I got to work and checked in again this had happened. Gutted for you - you'd have wiped the floor with the rest of them - again!

What engine was you running?

class work lads, that track looked pretty brutal in places, I noticed at the end the engine sounded like it was running out of petrol, do you have scheduled stops planned throughout the race, like every x amount of laps, or do you wait to hear the engine is running low then nurse it in to make the best use of your pitstops? how much fuel do you reckon it uses in an hour too? I have been racing in Northern Ireland for a while now and endurance races are what everyone is excited about, it's a while away yet till the field of riders is ready for it, but I always try for long stints when practice is on to try and get a feel for what to expect, but 12 hours is some going lol! great driving man, it was good watching how your line choice changes from corner to corner, like the big corner you hang wide on, squaring off corners and more, definately something new racers should be watching for tips! thanks for sharing man 👍🚜🏁 Jon
